In short
- You can play every game without an account. We don't ask for your name.
- Analytics and personalized ads run only if you click Accept All in the cookie banner.
- If you create an account, we store your username, email and comments. You can ask us to delete them.
- We don't sell your data.
1Who is responsible for your data
The controller of your personal data is Adam Macek, Czech Republic, operator of Tambi Games. You can reach me at tambi.games1@gmail.com with any privacy question.
2What we collect
- When you just play: technical data your browser sends with every request, such as IP address, browser type and the page you opened. Our hosting provider keeps it in server logs for a limited time for security and troubleshooting.
- When you vote on a game: a random token in a cookie so the same vote isn't counted twice. It doesn't contain anything about you.
- When you report a game: only the game and the reason you picked.
- When you create an account: username, email address and your password, stored only as a secure hash and never in readable form. Comments you post are public under your username.
- When you email us: your email address and what you wrote, so we can answer you.
4Ads and Google
Tambi Games is free because it shows ads through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
If you reject cookies in our banner, Google shows only non-personalized ads. You can also turn off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings or opt out of other vendors at aboutads.info. To learn more, read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
We use Google Consent Mode: until you choose in the banner, Google tags run with every consent signal set to “denied”.
5Games from other companies
The games run inside a frame loaded from the game distributor, mainly GamePix. While you play, the distributor and the game itself may process technical data, set their own cookies or show their own consent message. That is covered by their own privacy policies, for example the GamePix privacy policy.
6Legal basis and how long we keep data
- Running the site and security (server logs, necessary cookies): our legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Your account and comments: needed to provide the account you asked for, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Kept until you delete the account.
- Analytics and personalized ads: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it any time.
- Emails to us: our legitimate interest in answering you. Kept only as long as needed to deal with your message.
Our hosting provider Hostinger and Google process data on our behalf. Google may transfer data outside the EU under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
7Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, limit or object to how it's used, and take your data elsewhere. Email tambi.games1@gmail.com and you'll get an answer within 30 days at the latest. You can also complain to a data protection authority. In the Czech Republic that's the Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ).
8Children
Anyone can play without an account. You need to be at least 15 to create an account, which is the age of digital consent in the Czech Republic. If you believe a child under that age has given us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
